This setting relates to the Space Horizontally function. This function is invoked with a right mouse click within a Container. Items are grouped in a Container to allow further editing of grouped objects.
In the example below - the four text boxes (unevenly spaced) are captured in a Container. Right mouse click on the Container and 'Space Horizontally' is selected.
The consistently arranged text boxes below are the result of a Spacing setting of 100.
Altering the Spacing setting will alter the distance
between objects when Space Horizonally is invoked.
